Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson provided an update on wide receiver D.J. Moore after he was hospitalized following Monday’s game against the Washington Commanders.
Moore was hospitalized overnight for what the Bears called “precautionary medical attention,” and Johnson provided an update to ESPN Chicago’s Jeff Joniak on Tuesday.
“We got some good news in that regard,” he said. “He should be coming on back today. I think he’ll be day-to-day going forward. It was a groin deal he was dealing with, I think we’re going to be okay.”
It was revealed Tuesday morning that Moore didn’t travel home with the team after the 25-24 win over the Commanders, remaining in Washington overnight for “precautionary medical attention,” according to a statement.
