GLOBE, AZ (AZFamily) — The U.S. 60 is significantly damaged due to recent storms in the Globe area.

Video sent to Arizona’s Family shows destroyed guardrails, cracked pavement and more. Flooding also continues to be a problem for motorists traveling in the area.

The closure was first announced on Saturday . Around 5 p.m. on Sunday, ADOT posted that the U.S. 60 was closed in both directions between Superior and Miami due to severe flooding in the downtown area. Some lanes were partially reopened later, but ADOT shut down traffic in both directions once again late Monday morning.

There is no estimated time for the highway to reopen.
