WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - A teenager has been formally charged for attempted second-degree murder in the shooting of a Maize High School teacher last month.

Kevin Norfleet, 30, an English Language Arts teacher at Maize High School, was wounded in the 400 block of South Vassar the night of Saturday, September 27. According to Wichita police, Norfleet went outside after seeing the teen rummaging through his car.
