Edinburgh residents are in for a 'full week of rain' as Halloween approaches according to BBC Weather.

Forecasters have said showery conditions will begin on October 19, lasting through the week and well into Sunday, October 26. Temperatures are also set to drop to around 10C.

On Sunday at around 2pm, rain is predicted to begin. Showers persist throughout the day and overnight, with temperatures of around 9C.

Monday, October 20, brings more wet conditions. These should cease at around 2am on Tuesday, with some sun expected in the morning.

However, this won't last long - and showers return at around 2pm. On Wednesday, October 22, residents can expect more showers - though this is paired with sunny patches peeking through the clouds.
