RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two men were shot late Monday night at a Shell gas station in Raleigh, police said.

It happened just before 11:45 p.m. in the 1800 block of New Bern Avenue near Raleigh Boulevard.

Officers arrived and found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A little while later, hospital staffers told police that a second shooting victim had arrived at the hospital. He was treated for his injuries and was expected to recover.

No arrests have been made.

The case remains under investigation.
