Thurmont Commissioner Robert Lookingbill appeared in court on Tuesday on charges that he sexually abused a 12-year-old girl last year as she was exiting a school bus he was driving.

Lookingbill, 73, faces one count each of sexual abuse of a minor, third-degree sex offense and second-degree assault in connection with the incident that allegedly took place on March 1, 2024.
