LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two of Kentucky’s major airports will not play a video from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem saying Democrats are to blame for the federal government shutdown.
Muhammad Ali International in Louisville and Blue Grass Airport in Lexington are not airing the video, joining airports across the country. Airports in Las Vegas, Charlotte, Atlanta, Phoenix, Seattle and others say the video goes against airport policy or regulations prohibiting political messaging in their facilities.
A spokesperson with Louisville’s airport told Spectrum News 1, “The video you referenced from DHS Secretary Kristi Noem is not playing at the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF).”
