SOUTH POINT, Ohio. (WSAZ) - If you depend on the bridge that takes you from I-64 over into South Point, Ohio, plan on taking a different route this week.

According to traffic officials, for the next few days from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. U.S. 52 Northbound and Southbound at I-64 Exit 6 will be closed.

The closure is to allow for more work to be done on the bridge.

During the closure, temporary detours will be in place, directing drivers to U.S. 60 and I-64 Exit 15, which is the 29th Street Exit.

The closure is scheduled to wrap up Friday.
