President Donald Trump's border czar Tom Homan told a group of Indiana lawmakers and law enforcement officials that the administration is carrying out its promises of mass deportation of undocumented immigrants, but needs the state's help in making more progress.
At a private event at the Statehouse on Oct. 14 hosted by Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita and state Rep. J.D. Prescott, R-Union City, Homan said there's been "just shy of 550,000 removals" since the start of Trump's second term and that illegal border crossings have decreased dramatically.
