An explosion at a North York construction site sent seven workers to hospital Tuesday morning including three with life-threatening injuries.
Firefighters responded to a condominium under construction at 68 Esther Shiner Blvd ., near Leslie Street and Sheppard Avenue, around 9:20 a.m. after reports of a natural gas explosion.
Of those hurt, three suffered life-threatening injuries, three others are facing serious injuries that have been assessed as not life-threatening and a seventh was transported with minor injuries.
