COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)-Temperatures remain steady over the next several days, staying in the low to mid-80s — still running above average for this time of year. Dry conditions also persist, with the region’s rain deficit continuing to grow.
Relief is on the horizon. A cold front is expected to move in early Sunday morning, bringing a round of showers and storms across the area. Most of the rainfall is likely to occur during the morning hours.
By Sunday afternoon, the front will start to exit the region. While a few light showers may linger, drier and cooler air will follow, bringing temperatures back down to seasonal averages.
