OPELIKA, Ala. (WRBL) – The Opelika Police Department has arrested two men from Opelika who are allegedly connected to a series of recent armed robberies.
Investigators say 25-year-old Manuel Lorenzo Pascual turned himself in to the Dadeville Police Department on October 14, 2025, in reference to his outstanding warrants. He was later taken into custody by Opelika Police and charged with five counts of robbery, first degree.
The charges stem from two separate robberies that allegedly occurred on October 5 and October 7, 2025, in the 1200 block of Monroe Avenue. In both cases, victims reported that a Hispanic male allegedly pointed a handgun at them and demanded money before fleeing on foot.
Through investigation, detectives identified Pascual and 22-year-old Dearious Jaheim Joiner, both
