CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland’s clambake culture received national recognition from Food & Wine magazine , highlighting Northeast Ohio’s love for the fall tradition.

In an Oct. 14 story, the national dining magazine called Cleveland the “unsuspecting capital of the New England seafood tradition,” something locals have known for years.

Food & Wine spoke with Tom McIntyre, the owner of Kate’s Fish at the West Side Market, about the number of clams they sell during the season.
