GENEVA, NY — After missing a court date last month, a former commander of Geneva American Legion Winnek Post 396 visited his sister in Tennessee for several days, switched vehicles, and then traveled to Pennsylvania, where he is accused of writing threatening letters to a relative in Ontario County and two witnesses in the felony grand larceny case against him.

That’s how Ontario County Sheriff David Cirencione characterized Dale H. Mosher's days on the run until his arrest Oct. 13 in Pennsylvania.
