GB News presenter Peter Whittle has bravely shared that he is fighting cancer .

The former UKIP London Assembly member, whose last appearance on the channel was in May, turned to social media to share the devastating health news.

He has now disclosed that he was diagnosed with stage four oesophageal cancer during that same month.

He said: "Now, over recent weeks, many thoughtful and kind people have been inquiring about my health and whether everything is as it should be.
