The Brown County Sheriff’s Office released the following information:

On Friday, 10/10/2025, at about 0929 hours, Deputy Chris Williamson was dispatched to an animal bite call, located at the Brownwood- Brown County Health Department, Booker St., Brownwood, TX. Chastity Ann Willoughby was scratched by a cat on the front porch of her property. Due to Willoughby not knowing the cat or ever seeing the cat before, precautions were taken by medical staff. Information was collected, and a report was made.

On Friday, October 10, 2025, at 12:01 hours, Sgt Jayson Bastardo was dispatched to CR 616, Care Nursing and Rehabilitation, regarding a package, which had been stolen on September 30, 2025. Upon arrival, contact was made with Emma Reid. Reid stated she was expecting a package on September 30,
