A Shawano woman was sentenced Oct. 14 in federal court to five years in prison for possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute on the Menominee Indian Reservation.

Dianna Chevalier, 41, pleaded guilty to the charge May 29 in U.S. District Court Eastern District of Wisconsin in Green Bay. Her plea agreement included a joint recommendation for a five-year prison sentence, which U.S. District Court Judge William Griesbach imposed Oct. 14.
