SUNBURY, Ohio (WKBN) - Cardinal Mooney boys golf team earned fourth place in the 2025 OHSAA Division III Golf State Tournament at NorthStar Golf Club in Sunbury Tuesday afternoon.

The Cardinals took fourth with a combined score of 648 strokes between two rounds. Mooney was +30 off Warren JFK, who won its third consecutive state title.

The Cardinal's Alex Eckstein led the way with a total of 145 strokes. Behind him were Dante Turner (156), Constantine Stamp (173), Tyler Guerrieri (174), and Pierce Jones (201).

This is Mooney's fourth consecutive trip to the state tournament. Last season, the Cardinals were in 10th place with a total of 668 strokes.
