The William Henshaw Chapter, NSDAR, began its work for the 2025-26 year at the Sept, 6 meeting. The chapter approved its program book for the year and began work on upcoming activities for the autumn months.

The meeting noted a memorable passing of the torch by the chapter former Regent, Julia Gates. The current Regent, Deborah E. Hammond, was presented with the chapter’s Regent pin and the chapter in turn, presented Julia Gates with a former regent pin, gifted to her by members of the chapter, in recognition of her years of service to the chapter and to DAR.
