A woman was arrested on multiple charges Monday night in Idaho Falls after police initially went looking for her on a welfare check.

Idaho Falls Police were dispatched to an apartment located on the 600 block of Lomax Street, near North Wabash Avenue, around 3 p.m. in response to a caller being concerned that a man staying at the residence may have harmed Wendy Burke, 56, said Jessica Clements, police spokeswoman.
