TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Fall has arrived in the Wabash Valley and with it come fall allergies.

Dr. Jessica Walker from Horizon Health's Sycamore Pain & Wellness gave some tips on how to deal with fall allergies. Walker said allergies are all about your home and environment. She said if you have a cat allergy, change filters and wash bedding more often. Or, if you deal with pollen allergies, take an antihistamine and be sure to wash your clothes.

"You should definitely reach out to your doctor for fevers of 100.4 or higher," said Walker. "Changes in your discharge, which sounds gross. But you know, dark green sputum, yellow sputum, something that's getting darker, perhaps, you know, facial pain, those are the things you're going to reach out to your doctor about."
