Britney Spears has clapped back at ex-husband Kevin Federline’s upcoming memoir, You Thought You Knew.

“With news from Kevin’s book breaking, once again he and others are profiting off her, and sadly it comes after child support has ended with Kevin,” a rep for Spears, 43, said in a statement to Us Weekly on Tuesday, October 14. “All she cares about are her kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James, and their well-being during this sensationalism.”

Spears’ rep added that the pop star “detailed her journey in her memoir,” The Woman in Me, which was published in 2023.

Federline chronicled his marriage to Spears and the aftermath of her controversial conservatorship in his memoir, out October 21. The exes were married from 2004 to 2007 and share two children: Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James,
