CHESAPEAKE — One person died after an incident in Chesapeake, according to a press release from Chesapeake police.

Officers responded to a call regarding an injured person in the 700 block of S. Lake Circle in Chesapeake at about 4:27 p.m. on Tuesday. When officers arrived, they found a woman who had died. A minor is now in custody.

While this investigation remains ongoing, police say there is not threat to the public at this time. Police have also not released names of anyone involved.
