WESTON, W.Va. (WBOY) — After being under construction since the summer, Lewis County finally saw the ribbon-cutting for its new outdoor adventure complex on Tuesday.

Extreme Adventures officially held its grand opening on Tuesday for its roughly $1.8 million park, which features a miniature golf course inspired by West Virginia's nature and landmarks, as well as a rope course and zipline course.

“Its a very exciting day for us. As a Lewis County Commission and as a Lewis County Community, to be able to offer something like this," Lewis County Commission President Bobby Stewart said.

At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, many members of the community gathered to watch the grand opening. Local community leaders, mayors and police officers were also present.
