COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) -The Colorado Springs Airport is joining several others across the country in refusing to air a new video from the Department of Homeland Security that blames Democrats for the ongoing government shutdown.

The 40-second video features U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem addressing travelers at TSA checkpoints, saying, “Democrats in Congress refuse to fund the federal government... our hope is Democrats will soon recognize the importance of opening the government.”

Airport officials in Colorado Springs say they won’t play the video, citing federal law. In a statement to KKTV, the airport said:
