Tim Curry is looking back at interacting with the Trumps on set of 1992′s Home Alone 2: Lost in New York .

In the Christmas movie led by Macaulay Culkin , Tim , 79, played the concierge at the Plaza Hotel which now-President Donald Trump owned at the time while his ex-wife Ivana , who passed away 22, served as the property’s president.

While speaking with The Guardian for a career retrospective interview, Tim reflected on lying to Ivana about her choice of interior decorating in the hotel.

“She knocked on my door and said, ‘Are you happy in your room? Do you like the way it looks?’” Tim recalled. “And I loathed it actually.”
