ATLANTA (WJBF) — It’s been two years since the October 7th terrorist attacks, when Hamas and other militant groups killed about 1,200 people in Israel and took 250 hostages.
This week, Hamas released the final 20 living hostages as part of a ceasefire agreement that also freed 2,000 Palestinian prisoners. Gaza’s Health Ministry says nearly 70,000 Palestinians have been killed during the conflict.
Georgia’s Jewish community and political leaders are reacting to the end of the war and expressing hope for peace and healing.
