Work is expected to start early next year on the new Maitland Mental Health Rehabilitation centre.

It follows the appointment of Richard Crookes Constructions to deliver the state-of-the-art facility, to be co-located on the hospital campus in Metford.

And, it’s part of a $700 million Statewide Mental Health Infrastructure Program to reform care across NSW.

Some services currently available at the Morisset Hospital will be relocated to the Lower Hunter, too.
