A man wanted by Akron police in connection with a Sept. 25 shooting death was arrested the afternoon of Oct. 14, the U.S. Marshals Service announced in a news release.
The U.S. Marshals-led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Timothy Whitthorne, 33, also known as Timothy Lanier, 33, at a home in Garfield Heights. Whitthorne was sought by Akron police on charges of murder, felonious assault and a weapons prohibition, according to the news release.
Whitthorne was a suspect in the death of Razeil Robinson, 27, who was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the 1000 block of Rosemary Boulevard. Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene.
