TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A grand jury convened on Tuesday in the Hope Florida case, according to reports.

The Hope Florida Foundation, a charity arm of First Lady Casey DeSantis’ welfare-assistance program, became the subject of a criminal investigation earlier this year when a $10 million donation allegedly went missing .

According to the Miami Herald , several key players were seen at the Leon County Courthouse on Tuesday.

The Herald reports Representative State Rep. Alex Andrade, who led a House investigation into the foundation, was seen at the courthouse around noon on Tuesday.

Reports also indicate the leader of a nonprofit that received money from Hope Florida was at the courthouse on Tuesday.
