A 57-year-old Adams County man died Tuesday after he ran a red light into the path of a pickup truck , the county coroner’s office said.
Douglas Kicas, of Littlestown, died of multiple blunt force injuries stemming from the crash, the coroner’s office said. His death was ruled accidental.
Pennsylvania State Police and rescue crews were sent around 5:15 a.m. to Georgetown Road at Frederick Pike in Germany Township for a “T-bone” crash involving two vehicles.
Initial reports said one person was trapped in the wreckage as first responders arrived. The Adams County Coroner’s Office was called to the scene around 6 a.m.
The other driver sustained minor injuries and declined medical treatment.
