CENTRAL ILLINOIS (WCIA) -- Close to 2,300 people are without power in Macon and DeWitt Counties.
The outage started around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to Ameren's outage map. As of 9:30 p.m., officials were still assessing what caused the outages.
The main areas impacted include Clinton, Maroa and Wapella.
