NCIS: Origins just returned for it’s second season TONIGHT (October 14).

The season kicked off with the fate of Mariel Molino ‘s Lala being revealed, following the car crash cliffhanger at the end of season one earlier this year.

Lala was on her way to tell Gibbs ( Austin Stowell ) some good news, but she got into a car accident while veering out of the way of a young girl who ran into the road. The season ended with Lala bleeding and looking lifeless.

In the season two premiere, “The Funky Bunch,” Gibbs and Franks investigate the disappearance of a young Marine connected to a mysterious compound with a charismatic leader, and Lala’s fate is revealed.
