CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A Cleveland firefighter and a man in his 60s were injured and taken to the hospital after a house fire Tuesday night.

Cleveland Fire responded to the 13600 block of Benheim Road around 9:45 p.m.

Fire crews rescued a man in full arrest from a second-floor bedroom.

Fire and EMS crews worked to revive him.

He was taken to MetroHealth Hospital in critical condition, according to the Cleveland Fire Department.

A male firefighter also suffered a hand injury and was transported to Metro in stable condition.

The cause and origin of the fire are under investigation.
