POWDERSVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Powdersville Fire Department reports crews were working on a controlled burn on Tuesday.

The burn was in the 2700 block of Old Pendleton Road, officials said.

Drivers and passersby were asked by officials not to call 911 if they saw it.

The reason for the controlled burn was not given.
