The University of Lethbridge Pronghorns Women’s Rugby team begin their quest for a second consecutive year with a medal at the Canada West Women’s Rugby 15s Championship tomorrow in Edmonton and will have a tough test in their semi-final match.

The third-place Horns (3-2-1) draw second place UBC (3-2) in their semi-final match-up, who they lost 86-0 to in the regular season.

U of L is facing what is a quality UBC team that has international experience on their side.

“I think possession is a big one for us ,” said Graeme Moffat, Horns head coach, on what is going to be key for the Horns.

“For us it’s gotta be about building pressure through possession and then obviously we gotta make sure that we defend well.”
