WA Police are hunting two men who they allege posed as police officers and used a bogus warrant to steal tens of thousands dollars worth of jewellery and cash – including a Rolex watch – from a Perth home.

Police say the two men were caught on CCTV driving up to a home on Mercury Street in Carlisle about midnight on August 29.

Footage shows the men, dressed in dark blue pants, dark blue undershirts and vests with “POLICE” written on the back, walk down the driveway to the home where they allegedly told the two occupants they were officers and produced a fake search warrant before being let inside.

Detective First Class Constable Andre Ferreira said the men spent about 40 to 50 minutes inside the property and were able to make off
