Murder charge laid after man’s death in Armadale

A 35-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a 49-year-old man in Armadale on Wednesday afternoon.

Police flooded Fifth Road just after 2pm on Wednesday following an alleged altercation between the two.

“Police and St John WA attended the scene and located the victim with life-threatening injuries,” a WA Police spokeswoman said.

“He was sadly declared deceased at the scene.”

Forensics officers spent the afternoon at the scene investigating what happened.

The 25-year-old man, from Wandering, is set to appear in Armadale Magistrates Court today. 7.56am
