Air fryers soared in popularity during the Covid-19 pandemic and to date, are still of course a staple in household with an estimated two-thirds (68%) of adults in the UK owning one, according to a study by Good Food Nation .

Whilst they're great for speedy cooking and many using it in place of their oven, some don't clean them as often as they should - and wrongly assume if they use a liner they don't need to clean them.

The reminder to avoid that mistake comes after a new study from Shark found that almost 1 in 3 (28%) people have never cleaned their air fryer .
