Brooke Bredeson scored her team-high 12th goal of the season and had an assist as top-seeded Rutgers Prep, No. 1 in the NJ.com Top 20, edged eighth-seeded Bernards 2-0 in the quarterfinals of the Somerset County Tournament in Somerset.

The Argonauts (12-0) will face fourth-seeded Bridgewater-Raritan in the semifinals.

Kyrah Lormil also scored and Jordan Reigrod had to stop just one shot for the shutout.

Aletha Reynolds made 14 saves for Bernards (7-3-2).
