A dad injured by a stray bullet as he helped to barricade the door of the Crumpsall synagogue targeted in a terror attack has been released from hospital.
Father-of-three Yoni Finlay was hit by a bullet fired by an armed officer responding to the attack by Jihad Al-Shamie at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue on Yom Kippur.
Mr Finlay, 35, has now been discharged hospital, almost two weeks since the attack took place on October 2. He underwent seven hours of surgery following the incident.
A statement from Greater Manchester Police said: “The man who was injured with a gunshot wound has been discharged from hospital and is recovering at home.”
