Bryce Ayars’ scored twice in the second half as Woodstown rallied to salvage a 2-2 draw with Penns Grove in Carney’s Point.

The Red Devils, who battled to a 1-1 tie with the Wolverines on Sep. 18, took a 1-0 lead in this one on a goal by Prince Ledbetter and doubled their advantage in the second half, when Poyraz Erdonmez hit the net.

Woodstown (9-1-2, 6-0-2) answered with Ayars’ 14th and 15th goals of his senior season and kept itself in position to capture the Tri-County Conference Diamond Division. The Wolverines, who defeated co-division leader Schalick on Sep. 22, will have a chance for a season sweep when they host the Cougars (11-2-1, 7-1) Thursday.

Penns Grove is 5-3-3 and 3-3-2.
