LGBTQ+ Rights Face New Supreme Court Test in Upcoming 2025-2026 Term

The U.S. Supreme Court is set to take up two closely watched cases this term that could shape the future of LGBTQ+ rights — one concerning bans on conversion therapy for minors, and another testing whether transgender girls can compete in women’s sports under federal law.

The first case, Chiles v.
