The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) government led by CM MK Stalin in Tamil Nadu may introduce a bill in the assembly on Wednesday to ban the use of Hindi language in the state. According to media reports, the government wants to ban Hindi hoardings, boards, films, and songs across Tamil Nadu.
The government had called an emergency meeting with legal experts on Tuesday night to discuss this bill. The special session of the Tamil Nadu Assembly began on October 14. It will conclude on October 17. Supplementary budget estimates are also expected to be presented during this session.
