Tata Communications Q2 Results: Tata Communications reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 183.21 crore for the September quarter, down 19.3 per cent from Rs 227.27 crore in the same period last year.

The telecom services provider's profit also fell 3.64 per cent sequentially from Rs 190.14 crore in the June quarter, according to a stock exchange filing on Wednesday.

Profit after tax from continuing operations stood at Rs 183.21 crore, declining 27 per cent year-on-year and 21 per cent quarter-on-quarter.

However, the company posted strong revenue growth during the quarter. Gross revenue rose 6.5 per cent to Rs 6,100 crore from Rs 5,728 crore a year earlier.
