MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Raul Valle, who was acquitted in the 2022 death of a Shelton teen, is due in court Wednesday on amended charges.
The amended charges that were filed in July include reckless manslaughter, two counts of first-degree reckless assault, and one count of second-degree reckless assault.
Earlier this year, a jury found Valle not guilty of murder and intentional manslaughter in the stabbing death of 17-year-old Jimmy McGrath.
He was also found not guilty in the stabbings of two others and the second-degree assault of another.
Valle was 16 at the time of the stabbing that occurred at a house party on Laurel Drive in May 2022. When he took the stand in his own defense in July, he said he thought he was going to die and started blindly slashing at the crowd.
