New government laws put in place to crackdown on obesity have already caught customers' attention, with a number of brands already enforcing the rules.

From putting a stop to 'buy one get one free' deals on unhealthy foods such as crisps, sweets and fizzy pop to limiting the number of hot chocolates you can have at Wetherspoons, many shoppers have been confronted by the new obesity regulations.

And from January, any adverts promoting junk food will no longer be allowed on the television before 9pm - and will be completely banned online.

Rachel Reeves is said to also be considering changing the sugar tax in her upcoming November budget.
