Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was stabbed to death in south London.

Met officers were called to Rushey Green, Catford, shortly after 3am this morning (Wednesday, October 15).

Paramedics treated in a man in his 20s for stab wounds before rushing him to hospital.

The man died due to his injuries, police said. A crime scene remains in place.

There have been no arrests and detectives’ enquiries are ongoing.
