(Sioux Falls, SD) — A former Sioux Falls middle school teacher will spend over two decades in prison for sex crimes involving minors. Justin Preuschl was arrested in February 2024 while working as a teacher at Whittier Middle School after authorities were tipped off about his involvement in producing child pornography. Investigators say the 29-year-old used fake social media accounts to pose as a teenage boy to contact at least 48 underage girls and eventually convinced a minor to make and send him a nude video. Six of the victims were students at Whittier Middle School. Preuschl was sentenced to 24 years in federal prison this week for the crimes
