PHOENIX — A shooting in the Phoenix area has left a juvenile injured, the city's police department said.
Officers responded to a shooting call around 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday near 12th Street and Bell Road.
As officers arrived on scene, they found the male juvenile with a gunshot wound, police said. Emergency crews arrived and took him to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The identity of the victim was not released. Police are investigating the incident and what led up to the shooting.
